Researchers have found that treating high blood pressure treatment with a pill that contains a low dose of three medication for hypertension (called the Triple Pill) is more effective than usual treatment. After 6 months, almost 70% of the patients receiving the triple pill achieved a blood pressure within the target range, compared to 44% of patients with normal medication.
