Sleep Apnea And Poor Sleeping Can Lead To Hypertension    




Sleep apnea has been related to high blood pressure. However, recent research suggests that sleeping less than six hours also increases the risk of hypertension, with, or without sleep apnea. This might be linked to the fact that sleep helps to regulate stress hormones, therefore, the lack of it will affect the ability to control stress hormones, resulting in hypertension.
